Coach Carlos Perez
Coach Perez is going into his 3rd season as the Defensive End’s coach at D1 FCS program McNeese State University. During his time at McNeese he has helped with a team that went 10-0 in Southland Conference play in 2015 and has helped develop a defensive line that went from a total of 8 sacks in 2015 to 28 sacks in 2016. Prior to joining the Cowboys coach Perez worked for Scott Joseph at Navarro Junior College in Texas coaching the outside linebackers. While at Navarro for one season Coach Perez had the chance to work with some of the best talent in the country. Mr. Perez coached 3 linebackers that went on to receive Division 1 scholarships. Before his time at Navarro, Perez coached the Defensive Line at The University of Saint Mary’s in Kansas. During his time in Kansas he had the chance to be part of a staff that was attempting to bring a program back to life after so many years. During his time at USM they were able to conquer the most wins in a season and best passing defense in the conference.

“Hands of the Samurai was one of the most time and cost effective sessions of college level coaching I received while I was a high school athlete. In just a few hours I learned how to properly use my hands, as well as many other fundamentals necessary for great defensive line play. Hands of the Samurai was a key factor in my transformation from an average football player to a very good one.”
